We take great care to accurately present all artworks online and ensure they are handled and stored safely within the gallery.
Original Artwork & Unique Items
- Due to the one-of-a-kind nature of original artworks, we do not accept returns unless the item is damaged or incorrect.
- This policy complies with the UK Consumer Rights Act 2015 and the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013.
For online purchases, you have a statutory right to cancel your order within 14 days of receiving your artwork, unless it falls under an exemption (see below).
- If your artwork arrives damaged, please notify us within 48 hours of collection or delivery, including photos of the item and packaging.
Please note that bespoke, commissioned, or personalised artworks are exempt from the right to cancel once production has begun.
Other Items (Giftware, Prints, etc.)
- These may be returned in their original condition within 14 days of collection. If purchased online, you must inform us in writing (by email) within 14 days of receipt if you wish to return an item.
- Return costs are the responsibility of the customer unless the item is faulty or incorrect.
- Refunds will be processed using the original payment method within 5–10 working days of approval.
- Returned goods must be securely packaged and include proof of purchase. We recommend using an insured courier for valuable items, as we cannot accept liability for goods lost or damaged in transit.

Own Art Purchases (If/When Introduced)
When Studio Two Six One introduces the Own Art scheme, items purchased through the finance option will remain subject to the Own Art customer agreement. Cancellations and refunds for financed purchases will be managed in accordance with Own Art and Novuna Personal Finance terms and conditions.
We will update this policy accordingly once the service is live.
