2. Delivery Information
We only share necessary delivery information (name, address, and contact number) with our two trusted art courier companies for the purpose of delivering your artwork safely. Our couriers are required to handle all personal data securely and in compliance with UK GDPR regulations.
We currently use two trusted art courier companies to deliver artwork within the UK. These companies process delivery data solely for fulfilment and are bound by confidentiality and data-security agreements.
If you choose in-gallery collection, your data will only be used for verification and order fulfilment.
3. Mailing List Subscriptions
If you subscribe to our mailing list, we will store your email address to send you updates about exhibitions, new artwork, and events. We process your contact details under Article 6(1)(a) of UK GDPR (consent).
You can withdraw this consent at any time by clicking “unsubscribe” or contacting us directly.
4. Comments and Media
If you leave comments on our website or upload images, the data provided (including IP address and browser information) may be used for spam detection and website security purposes. Please avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS), as visitors to the site can download and extract this information.

Own Art Applications (If/When Introduced)
If and when Studio Two Six One commences offering finance through the Own Art scheme, we may securely share the necessary information with the approved Own Art finance partner (such as Novuna Personal Finance) to process your application.
This information will only be used to assess eligibility, verify identity, and complete your application under the terms of the Own Art programme. No financial data will be stored by Studio Two Six One.
When this finance option becomes available, applications will be processed under Article 6(1)(b) (contract fulfilment) and Article 6(1)(c) (legal obligation for credit checks). All finance data will be processed by Novuna Personal Finance, the approved Own Art partner, in accordance with their Privacy Policy.

How Long We Retain Your Data
- Comments and their metadata are retained indefinitely for moderation purposes.
- For registered customers, personal data is retained as long as necessary to fulfil orders or comply with legal obligations.
- Mailing list information is retained until you unsubscribe.
- We retain order data for six years for tax and accounting purposes.
- Mailing list data is retained until you unsubscribe or request removal.
- Website analytics and cookies data are kept for no longer than 26 months.
Your Rights
You have the right to:
- Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you
- Request correction or deletion of your data (except where required by law)
